What is included
- 24/7 on-call. A real rotation with phone paging, response in under 15 minutes, and escalation to your team when a fix needs product decisions.
- Monitoring and alerting. Golden-signal metrics, logs and traces, with alerts tuned to fire on user-visible problems instead of CPU thresholds.
- Incident management. Clear roles during an incident, status updates you can forward to customers, and blameless postmortems with follow-up actions.
- Patching and upgrades. Operating systems, Kubernetes versions, databases and dependencies kept current on a schedule.
- Cost reviews. A monthly look at the bill, commitments and waste, with changes proposed before they are made.
- Security hygiene. Access reviews, key rotation, vulnerability follow-up and the evidence auditors ask for under GDPR, ISO 27001 or NIS2.
How onboarding works
- Assessment. We start with our one-week audit so we know what we are taking on.
- Fix the essentials. Alerting, runbooks and access are brought up to standard before we accept the pager.
- Shadow, then lead. We shadow your on-call for a short period, then take the primary rotation.
- Monthly report. Incidents, uptime against the SLA, cost and what we recommend next.
Who it is for
- Teams without a dedicated operations engineer, where developers are currently woken up by alerts.
- Ops teams that need a second line at night, on weekends and during holidays.
- Companies with customer SLAs or regulatory duties that need documented incident response.
Frequently asked questions
What does the 99.9% SLA cover?
Availability of the infrastructure we operate, measured monthly, for systems that meet our onboarding standards (redundancy, backups, monitoring). The exact scope is written into each agreement.
What happens when you get paged?
We acknowledge within 15 minutes, start diagnosis using the runbook, keep you updated in a shared channel, and escalate to your engineers if the fix needs a code change or product decision.
Do you need full admin access?
We use least-privilege roles through SSO, with break-glass access logged and reviewed. No shared passwords or long-lived personal keys.
Can you work with our existing tools?
Yes. We work with Datadog, Grafana, PagerDuty, Opsgenie, Slack and most CI systems. If something is missing, we recommend the smallest addition that closes the gap.
How much does managed DevOps cost?
A monthly retainer based on the size of the estate and the support hours you need. Email [email protected] for a quote.
